Badminton deserves a lot more focus and attention.
Think about it. Badminton is a sport enjoyed by over 200 million players around the world. Yet, in many countries, badminton is hardly ever covered by the media.
As a result, we seldomly get access to interesting stories that will help us keep engaged and involved with the sport, players, politics, etc.
Sure, a few “badminton-crazed” countries benefit from massive coverage. But in most countries, badminton is a “silent sport” media-wise.
At Badmintonspeak we want to help create change. We believe we need to share loads of insights, facts, education, and information about badminton with the community and the world at large.
And that’s what we’ve set out to do. Doing so requires significant resources. And the project will likely not be commercially viable for quite a few years.
But we feel that the great general badminton community will be thrilled to help. We’d like to think we have quite a few great ideas up our sleeve. But we also know that we won’t be able to execute most of them unless we get help from the badminton community.
